Hi, my name is Stephanie. I’m a freelance illustrator & graphic designer based in Antwerp.
After studying illustration at Saint Lukas in Ghent, I started working in the magazine world as an illustrator and layout designer. I soon became a freelance Art Director for Sanoma Media, where I learned all about branding, storytelling and printing processes.
After some years of redesigning magazines, I decided to focus more on illustration and painted together a new portfolio in the wee hours of the night. Today, I’m represented by MB Artists for all children’s books projects in the United States.
I openly worship Hayao Miyazaki, Tim Burton & Dr Seuss, and have a mild obsession for flying contraptions, robots and excessively large machinery. I viscerally enjoy clear communication and have been known to obsess over fonts and margins. When working, I binge-listen to podcasts, stand-up comedy or mind-boggling lectures about science and technology.
Can I help you?
I take pride in working for little people, so do contact me for books, toys, children’s magazines or other projects for kids.
I have a broad spectrum of interests and skills, so I’m open to all kinds of projects, but authenticity and diversity are a must.
I have a knack for clear communication and enjoy translating complex concepts into understandable visuals. Wether the solution is a readable infographic or a set of crispy icons, get in touch when you need to communicate your message to clients, employees or customers.
Business reports, books, brochures, cards, signage… Let me take that chunk of your to-worry-about list. I’ll take care of all your graphic needs, and will talk print-lingo with the professionals over at the printer’s.

Would you like to see more work?
Usually, I have to wait a couple of months before releasing illustrations due to publishing contracts. I can provide some more samples on request via email.
